Sound is touch.
Whether I’m performing, composing, or writing words, the foundation of my practice is sound. My tools include divinatory materials, meditation, mediumship, movement, and machines: all with the gentle intention to heal body, mind, and spirit. I do this in service of my ancestors, the Black queer communities I am a part of, and for love.

Bio
K. Henderson was born in Buffalo, NY in 1993, and grew up between that city and a farm in northern Virginia. They received a BA in Music and Literature from Bennington College, then went on to receive an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
Over the past decade, they have published poetry and prose, performed around the U.S., worked with a psychic medium, taught at the university level, and composed for theatre, dance, and film.
